The role calls for 3+ years of pastry experience in a high-volume setting and at least 1 year in kitchen management; fine dining or kosher experience is a plus. Expect a 5-day week with Sundays off in a vibrant, supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recipe Reinforcer: ensure desserts align with the chef's vision while adding creativity.
• Inventory King/Queen: manage ingredients and supplies to avoid shortages.
• Smooth Operator: keep all stations running from prep to plating.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Pastry Station Commander : With the Head Chef by your side, you'll run the pastry and dessert station, making sure everything goes off without a hitch.
• Recipe Reinforcer: Make sure every dessert follows the chef's vision to a T, but don't be afraid to sprinkle in a little of your creativity.
• Inventory King/Queen : You'll keep track of ingredients and supplies like a culinary detective, making sure we're never out of the essentials.
• Smooth Operator: Ensure all stations are running like a well-tuned orchestra, from prep to plating-nothing gets past you!

Who We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of pastry and dessert experience in a high-volume environment
• Minimum 1 year of kitchen management experience in a high-volume environment
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in fine dining is advantageous but not required
• Prior experience in Kosher cuisine is advantageous but not required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere
• Must be able to rotate day and night shifts
