Job summary

Achieve Group's client is seeking a Junior Trader to support its physical metals trading activities. This role suits someone with experience in trading, trade operations or a commercial function who is ready to broaden market exposure.

You will help source, price and execute trades, monitor market developments, engage suppliers and customers, coordinate contracts and shipments, track positions and maintain records across the trade cycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Around 3 years of relevant experience in metals trading, physical trade operations or a related commercial role.
• Good understanding of physical trading processes, with strong numerical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing, pricing and execution of physical metals trades.
• Monitor market developments and identify potential trading opportunities.
• Engage suppliers and customers on enquiries, quotations and commercial terms.
• Work with operations teams to coordinate contracts, shipments and deliveries.
• Track trade positions, costs and margins.
• Maintain accurate trade records and help resolve issues across the trade cycle.
