PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable professional to lead and manage system-related projects in collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.

The role focuses on delivering effective technology solutions that align with business objectives, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic growth. The candidate will gather and document requirements, translate them into actionable recommendations, and ensure timely delivery with high quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer-related studies or IT.
• 3–5 years of experience in managing application development.
• Willingness to learn insurance systems and domain knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of system-related projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors to evaluate and implement proposals.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and quality.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Job description

Lead and manage system-related projects and initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of system-related projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to evaluate proposed solutions, ensuring they meet business needs, technical requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and elevate project risks and issues proactively, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on agreed deliverables.
• Drive and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with stakeholders to ensure testing is completed within agreed timelines and business requirements are met.
• Support system operations and work with the Head, Projects and Systems to ensure business applications remain stable, effective, and aligned with operational needs, including handling ad hoc assignments as required.
  

Skills / Requirement:

• Degree/ Diploma in Computer related studies or Information Technology
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in managing application development
• Knowledge and experience of insurance domain is preferred
• Project Management skill/experience
• Willingness to learn insurance systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a problem solver
• Able to deliver tasks on time with high quality results
• High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
