Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd invites an IT Project Manager (Software/Application) to lead and deliver system-related projects in a dynamic environment. You will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver technology solutions supporting objectives, efficiency and growth.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in managing application development, strong communication, and a willingness to learn insurance/banking domains.

Role: IT Project Manager (Software/Application)
Role Type: 6 Months contract (possibility to extend / convert later)
Salary: Up to SGD 6,000/month

Job Description & Requirements:

Lead and manage system-related projects and initiatives by partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of system-related projects, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to evaluate proposed solutions, ensuring they meet business needs, technical requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and quality standards to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and escalated project risks and issues proactively, while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on agreed deliverables.
• Drive and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with stakeholders to ensure testing is completed within agreed timelines and business requirements are met.
• Support system operations and work with the Head, Projects and Systems to ensure business applications remain stable, effective, and aligned with operational needs, including handling ad hoc assignments as required.
  

Skills / Requirement:

• Degree/ Diploma in Computer related studies or Information Technology
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in managing application development
• Knowledge and experience of insurance/banking domain is preferred
• Project Management skill/experience
• Willingness to learn insurance systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a problem solver
• Able to deliver tasks on time with high quality results
• High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
