Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Operations & Administration Engineer to support day-to-day ICT operations, workplace technologies, service requests, and vendor coordination within a structured enterprise environment.

The role is based in Jurong East, Singapore, and is a full-time contract role with potential renewal or conversion. You will manage service requests and incidents, administer Microsoft 365, onboard/offboard users, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to governance,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT operations or administration experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and workplace technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage ICT service requests, incidents and operational support activities.
• Coordinate with vendors on ICT requests, issues and service delivery.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, access management, licences and security groups.
• Coordinate endpoint provisioning, software installation, device replacement and workplace tech support.
• Monitor service backlog and escalate delays or issues as needed.
• Assist ICT governance, cybersecurity, audit, risk management and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, audit trails, asset inventories and software licence records.
• Assist with incident management, problem management, reporting and service reviews.

Job description

We are looking for an IT Operations & Administration Engineer to support the day-to-day ICT operations, workplace technologies, service requests, and vendor coordination within a structured enterprise environment.

Location: Jurong East
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Subjected to renewal/conversion)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track ICT service requests, incidents, and operational support activities,
• Coordinate wit vendors on ICT requests, issues, and service delivery.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Support user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, access management, licences, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and security groups.
• Coordinate endpoint provisioning, software installation, device replacement, and workplace technology support.
• Monitor outstanding requests and service backlogs, escalating delays or service delivery issues where required.
• Support ICT governance, cybersecurity, audit, risk management, and compliance activities, including periodic access reviews.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, audit trails, ICT asset inventories, and software licence records.
• Assist with incident management, problem management, operational reporting, and service review meetings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT operations, IT administration, service management, infrastructure support, or workplace technology support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and workplace technologies.
• Experience managing user accounts, access rights, email services, licences, and endpoint-related requests.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managed service providers.
• Good understanding of IT service management processes, including incident and service request management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate operational and compliance documentation.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience working within the Singapore Government ICT environment.
• Familiarity with Whole-of-Government (WOG) ICT processes, governance frameworks, and support models.
• Experience supporting user provisioning, access management, email administration, ICT assets, and workplace technology services.
