We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Assistant to manage end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance with Singapore labor regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting business operations and enhancing employee experience.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment (job posting, screening, interviewing, offer management)
Coordinate onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires
Maintain recruitment metrics and improve hiring processes
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time
Manage employee benefits, claims, and statutory contributions
Handle salary adjustments, bonuses, and final payments
Handle applications, renewals, and cancellations of work passes (EP, SPass, Work Permit)
Ensure compliance with regulations set by the Ministry of Manpower
Stay updated on Singapore labor laws and HR best practices
Address employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters
Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
Foster a positive workplace culture
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, payroll summaries)
Support audits and ensure proper documentation
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and SOPs
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
2-5 years of HR experience (preferably in Singapore)
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR practices
Experience in payroll processing and work pass applications
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience handling full-spectrum HR
Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP)
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
