Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking an Assistant Field Service Engineer to install and relocate complex electro-mechanical systems at customer sites, perform start-up and check-out, and minimize downtime through preventive maintenance. You’ll travel domestically and internationally as needed and provide hardware support for Tier 2 activities.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, strong English communication, and the ability to work in cleanroom environments with PPE.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, based on customer needs.
• Able to work in a clean room environment and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or relocate Lam’s electro-mechanical and electronic systems at customer sites, including start-up and check-out.
• Minimize downtime with on-site preventive maintenance and respond to abnormalities.
• Provide clear pass-down information to stakeholders and assist with Tier 2 hardware support.
• Stay up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through learning and certification.
