Qualifications

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in Chemistry or related subjects.
• Strong passion for teaching and eagerness to grow as a Chemistry Specialist.
• Strong attention to detail in lesson preparation and student assessment.
• Ability to balance work commitments with personal well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging group lessons to JC students that promote deep understanding of Chemistry concepts.
• Conduct hands-on lab sessions in the NEA-approved Chemistry Lab to reinforce theoretical learning.
• Apply the 5-stage Teacher Training System to develop effective teaching skills under mentor guidance.
• Provide clear, detailed student feedback and accurate marking to support student improvement.
• Collaborate with the support team to minimize administrative tasks and focus on teaching.
• Participate actively in mentorship and training sessions to continuously enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Demonstrate reliability and commitment by consistently preparing lessons and supporting student progress.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and curiosity.
• Work effectively within a team, offering assistance and cooperation when needed.

Work Schedule & Location

• Locations: Bukit Timah, Lorong Chuan, Kembangan
• Option 1: 4 weekdays (1:00pm-9:00pm) + 1 weekend (8:30am-6:30pm)
• Option 2: 3 weekdays (1:00pm-9:00pm) + 2 weekends (8:30am-6:30pm)
