Job summary

Lobb Heng Pte Ltd in Singapore invites applications for a Trading Support role. You will assist the Commodities and Forex Trading Team with pricing collations and the development of monitoring frameworks for trading summaries.

The ideal candidate has a Mathematics/Statistics/Finance/Engineering/CS background, basic knowledge of financial instruments, and fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with China counterparts; fresh graduates are welcome with training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, engineering or computer science.
• Basic knowledge of statistics, currencies, derivatives and financial instruments.
• Interest in China, London and US markets.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for liaising with clients from China.
• Self-motivated and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Summarize the trading statements from London Metal Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange and Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and provide basic analysis on the reports and statements from the Exchanges.


• Liaise with relevant parties on trading, banking, and brokerage transactions.


• Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.


• Basic knowledge in statistics, currencies, derivatives and financial instruments.


• Possess and demonstrate interest in China, London and US markets.


• Able to speak/write in English and Mandarin (as need to liaise with clients from China counterpart who speak/write in Mandarin).


• Proficient in Microsoft Office is essential.


• Self -motivated and adapt fast paced in dynamic environment.
