Job summary

HENGYI INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a quantitative market analyst to perform crude oil and derivatives analysis, preparing daily to monthly market reports for internal use.

You will provide fundamental insights and trade ideas to traders, acting as a technical reference and supporting both derivatives and physical traders on diverse research topics. The role requires a degreed background in business/finance or economics, with fresh graduates welcome and a preference

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Finance & Accounting/Economics required; fresh graduates welcome.
• AI/Big Data skills preferred to support data-driven insights.
• Strong numerical data skills and ability to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Meticulous, organized with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) to liaise with China HQ daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform market quantitative, qualitative and technical analysis on crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals and coal.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly market reports for internal use.
• Provide fundamental analysis and trade ideas to traders.
• Act as technical reference with solid analytical skills for the company.
• Support Derivatives and physical traders on various research topics.

• Perform Crude Oil/Refined Products /Petrochemical products/Coal market quantitative, qualitative and technical analysis

• Provide fundamental analysis and trade ideas to traders
• Provide internally recognized technical and analytical skill acting as technical reference for all level with company
• Support the Derivatives trader and physical traders on various research topics

Requirements

• At least Degree in Business/ Finance & Accounting/ Economics. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• AI / Big Data preferred
• Strong with numerical data, analysing trends, graphs and identifying discrepancies
• Meticulous and organized with high level of attention to accuracy and details
• Positive and displays good attitude
• This role requires proficiency in English and Mandarin both spoken & written to liaise with internal/external counterparts who can only speak Mandarin/write the reports in Mandarin to submit to China HQ daily.
