Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support day-to-day finance operations in Singapore. The role involves handling AP/AR, invoicing, payments, receipts and document preparation, with duties spanning bank reconciliations and monthly closings.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting/finance, familiarity with basic accounting principles, and is proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience in accounting is preferred.
• Experience with ACCPAC/Sage 300 is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Independent, willing to learn and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliation.
• Maintain proper filing and records of accounting documents.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.
• Assist with audit and tax-related matters when required.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and relevant parties on accounting matters.
• Assist with document submission and delivery to relevant parties.
• Assist with company errands and general administrative matters when required.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
