Job summary

ATOP Academy PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified GP teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Singapore MOE JC syllabus.

You will assess learning needs, tailor lesson plans, and teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking to JP school students. You will strengthen students’ critical reading and argument development, mark assignments, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback while preparing them for assessments and national examinations.

Qualifications

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, English, or related field
• Strong command of English (spoken and written)
• Familiarity with MOE JC GP syllabus and assessment requirements
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage
• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, continuous writing, situational writing, listening, and oral communication skills.
• Strengthen students’ critical reading, argument development, and effective written and spoken communication.
• Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations.
• Develop students’ confidence, critical thinking, and ability to express ideas clearly.
• Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.

Requirements
