Job summary

ARGYLL SCOTT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a Software Engineer for its Software Engineering Team on a 12-month contract. You will work on Java/Kotlin based systems, leveraging Spring Boot, JMS/MQ and Oracle/SQL databases, delivering scalable solutions while adhering to security and performance standards.

The role requires strong problem solving, collaboration in an Agile setting, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical designs.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot and messaging (JMS/MQ).
• Hands-on with SQL, data modelling and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and AWS cloud basics.
• Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum or XP.

Responsibilities

• Investigate production issues and work to a timely fix.
