Job summary

Unison Consulting, a Singapore-based technology services provider, is seeking a Java/J2EE Application Support Engineer to join its applications support team. The role focuses on hands-on Java/J2EE, Unix/Linux, SQL, web apps, batch processing, and application support.

Qualifications

1 year of application support experience required.
Hands-on Java/J2EE applications experience.
Proficient in Unix/Linux commands and SQL.
Willingness to transition from development to support.

Responsibilities

Provide L1/L2 application support for Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
Monitor applications, batch jobs, interfaces, and system processes.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues using Java logs, Unix/Linux commands, and SQL queries.
Perform incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution within defined SLAs.
Support web applications and batch processing environments.
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, middleware, and business teams to resolve production issues.
