Job summary

AMBRELLA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java software engineer to design, implement, and deliver robust software solutions in Singapore. You will work with Spring Boot, J2EE, SQL/Oracle and modern testing frameworks, ensuring secure and scalable web applications.

The role requires familiarity with Eclipse, GitHub, SoapUI, Postman, Jira and SVN, plus exposure to Newgen product suites and BPM concepts. Prior API integration and DevOps exposure (Jenkins/Sonar) is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience delivering Java-based software projects with Spring Boot, J2EE and SQL/Oracle.
Strong knowledge of JUnit and Mockito for unit and integration tests.
Familiarity with Eclipse, GitHub, SoapUI, Postman, Jira and SVN.
Understanding of Newgen product suite and BPM concepts.
Web application security focus and REST/SOAP API integration skills.
Experience with third-party integrations (Corpass, SingPass, Core Banking) is a plus.
Knowledge of app servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss) and DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins, Sonar).
AWS platform experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee development and installation of reliable software solutions.
Design, implement, and complete quality software projects using Java technologies.
Collaborate with Eclipse, GitHub, SoapUI, Postman, Jira, and SVN to manage work.
Leverage NewgenOne, iBPS, ECM/OmniDocs, O2MS/CCM and BPM concepts.
Ensure web application security and REST/SOAP API integration with emphasis on performance.
Assist with third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, Core Banking.
Work with Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss; apply DevOps practices and AWS knowledge.
