Job summary

Amaris Consulting Singapore is seeking a mid–senior fullstack developer to design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks. You will own backend services, RESTful APIs, and database design, while collaborating across Business Analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/SE/IT or related field required.
• 3–6 years of software engineering/full-stack experience.
• Strong Java programming and OOP fundamentals.
• Solid Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
• Relational database design, SQL, indexing, and query optimization.
• RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
• Frontend tech: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; framework experience with React/Angular/Vue.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade full-stack applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Develop robust backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise apps.
• Design and optimize relational databases with SQL and indexing.
• Develop frontend apps using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern frameworks.
• Integrate frontend with backend, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Deploy, configure, and support apps on Apache Tomcat; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Work with BAs, QA, PMs, Infra, and other developers through the SDLC.
• Use Git and established practices to ensure code quality and collaboration.
• Own technical delivery from development to production support; contribute to docs and standards.
