Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Sales Development Representative based in Singapore to drive awareness and adoption of its AI-powered data security solutions. You will identify new business opportunities, build outbound prospecting lists, and collaborate with Account Executives to nurture and qualify leads across Singapore and Japan regions.

The role emphasizes discovery calls, outbound and inbound follow-up, and a strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools and continuous learning to accelerate the sales

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant sales experience.
• Comfortable using CRM and prospecting tools.
• Experience researching companies, cold calling, emailing, and navigating organizational hierarchies.
• Confident in making cold calls and handling objections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn and be coached.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers in Japan and Singapore regions.
• Build and refine outbound prospecting lists with team input.
• Execute multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to generate opportunities.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand prospective needs and pitch Cohesity solutions.
• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.
• Qualify leads using predefined criteria and book meetings for Account Executives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
• Develop deep knowledge of Cohesity platform to articulate value proposition.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
