Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks an Assistant Director for IT Systems & Operations to lead the IT infrastructure, end-user computing, and business continuity for the organisation’s information systems. You will formulate strategic plans, oversee cloud and data center services, manage cross‑functional teams, and develop KPIs and SLAs to drive reliability, performance, and cost‑effective solutions.

Candidates should have extensive senior experience in large enterprise environments, ITIL

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Infrastructure and Operations and/or Information Systems, with at least 15 years in the field and 5+ years in a management role with large cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in IT governance, ITIL practices, and vendor management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to lead teams across multiple data centers and cloud/on-prem environments.
• Experience managing budgets, third-party service providers, and enterprise IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT infrastructure, end-user computing, and workspace operations.
• Oversee Cloud, Data Centre, servers; ensure standards, high availability, and rapid recovery from outages.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs; drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team delivering scalable, secure IT solutions.
