Job summary

Cambiaso Risso Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Specialist to support IT services across Singapore and the Asia region, acting as the first point of contact for technical issues and user requests. You will diagnose and resolve IT-related problems, maintain end-user devices, and assist with IT administration and documentation.

Collaborating with regional stakeholders and the Group IT team in Italy, you will contribute to technology standards, system administration, and the delivery of IT services,

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, connectivity, and user accounts.
  • Diagnose and resolve IT issues to ensure availability and performance.
  • Manage and prioritise requests through the helpdesk, with escalation when needed.
  • Support IT asset management: procurement, deployment, inventory, licensing, retirement.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Monitor system and network performance and perform routine maintenance.
  • Support cybersecurity controls and best practices to safeguard assets.
  • Collaborate with regional and Group IT teams on standards and administration.
  • Contribute to technology enhancements, automation, and AI-related initiatives.
  • Analyze and communicate technical information for decision-making.

Job description

Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist, you will support the delivery of IT services across Singapore and the Asia region, serving as the first point of contact for technical issues and user requests. Working closely with the Senior IT Specialist and global IT teams, you will diagnose and resolve IT-related issues, maintain end-user devices and systems, support IT administration and documentation, and assist with the implementation of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide first-line technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and user account issues in a timely and customer-focused manner.
  • Apply technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and end-user technologies.
  • Manage and prioritise support requests through the helpdesk process, ensuring effective issue tracking, resolution, and escalation where required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IT asset management practices by supporting the procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, licensing, and retirement of IT equipment and software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, asset records, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor system and network performance, perform routine maintenance activities, and identify opportunities to improveoperational efficiency and user experience.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to cybersecurity controls, policies, and best practices to safeguard company systems, data, and technology assets.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders and the Group IT team in Italy to support technology standards, system administration activities, and the delivery of IT services.
  • Contribute to technology enhancement initiatives by supporting the implementation of new tools, process improvements, automation solutions, and AI-related projects.
  • Analyse and communicate technical information through reports, documentation, and updates to support informed decision-making and operational planning.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a continuous learning mindset by supporting new technologies, business requirements, and ad hoc IT initiatives as required.
Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Knowledge of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, acquired through formal education, professional training, or relevant practical experience.
  • Ability to provide first-line technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-related issues in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Understanding of IT operations, end-user computing, system administration, and technology support processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, network connectivity, and common business applications.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and business requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation, follow established procedures, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exposure to IT operations, digital transformation initiatives, automation, or technology-related projects through employment, internships, academic projects, or extracurricular activities will be advantageous.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, automation, cybersecurity, and digital workplace solutions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a regional and global IT environment.
