Job summary

BGC Group Pte Ltd is hiring a Project Manager (PMO/SMO) for a long-term public sector initiative in Central Singapore. The role supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a mission-critical project management platform enabling strategic planning, oversight, and operational excellence.

You will collaborate with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure governance, timely delivery of enhancements, and effective change management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in system analysis and IT service delivery.
• PM/ PMP or CITPM certification is advantageous.
• Strong planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and System Managers in vendor management of development, delivery, and maintenance activities.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a project management platform to ensure operational continuity.
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams to align objectives.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for management reporting.
• Manage vendor delivery and system support by tracking defects, service requests, and changes.
• Review system logs and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
• Monitor system performance, manage risks and issues, and ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and user experience.

Job Highlights

Contract Duration: 2 Years
Salary: Up to $8,000/month + AWS + Performance Bonus + Loyalty Bonus
Location: Central Singapore (Bukit Merah Area)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm
Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent
Eligibility: Singapore Citizens only

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager (PMO / SMO) to support the implementation and maintenance of a project management platform that provides timely project insights through budget tracking, schedule monitoring, task management, and collaboration capabilities.

You will work closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure smooth operations, effective governance, and successful delivery of enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and System Managers in the overall vendor management of product development, delivery, and maintenance activities
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a project management platform to ensure operational continuity and successful outcomes
• Coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams to align expectations and project objectives
• Assist in change management activities and prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for management reporting
• Manage vendor delivery and system support by tracking system defects, service requests, and change requests
• Review system logs and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and quality service delivery
• Monitor system performance, manage risks and issues, and ensure compliance with IT policies and operational standards
• Recommend and implement process and system improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and user experience

Who We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of Project Management experience, including:
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting government-sector projects
  • At least 2 years of experience in system analysis and design
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT service delivery
• PMP or CITPM certification will be advantageous
• Strong system analysis and design capabilities
• Good planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation abilities
• Proactive, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
