Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Singapore to lead end-to-end software delivery within the financial sector. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope and timelines, and communicate risks to executive stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in IT project management, the full software development lifecycle, and effective stakeholder engagement. A proactive leader who can drive major initiatives is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

• Develop comprehensive project plans, define timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation, and drive execution from initiation to closure.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, transparency, and accountability to align stakeholders with project goals.
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and key decisions to senior management, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Own project delivery, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timeline while meeting requirements.
• Manage projects from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, training, documentation, and implementation per methodologies.
• Work with leadership to drive major organizational initiatives in alignment with business strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define requirements, agree on deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
• Identify risks, track dependencies, maintain issue registers, and implement mitigation plans to prevent project roadblocks.
• Develop management reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and stay updated on industry trends to safeguard the company.
• Ensure project KPIs are met, delivering expected outcomes while maintaining traceability of cost, scope, schedule, and quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent with solid experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry
• Experience in managing the entire software development practices, various development methodologies especially the waterfall model development and implementation
• In-depth knowledge on Project Management and Business Analysis
• Possess strong leadership, capable of managing stakeholders and maintaining relationships in large scale projects
• Strong team management skills, influencing skills and collaborative team player
• Possess strong and assertive verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Strong delivery management experience, with proven track records in managing and steering projects towards smooth execution and on time delivery.
