Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Project Infrastructure Engineer / Senior Engineer to support IT infrastructure projects from implementation to handover.

You will work with customers, vendors and internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions, perform installation and configuration, prepare SOWs, and maintain technical documentation. CAT 1 clearance is required for this project.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of working experience in infrastructure implementation and system maintenance.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a project team.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure deployment, system integration, troubleshooting, and project implementation will be highly advantageous.
• This role requires the individual to clear CAT 1 due to the nature of the project.

Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure projects by delivering assigned project requirements and achieving project milestones within the agreed timeline.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, and implementation of hardware and software for turnkey infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare and execute Statements of Work (SOW) and related project activities.
• Coordinate with customers, external vendors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve technical and implementation issues.
• Participate in System Acceptance Testing (SAT) with customers and external vendors.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure, system, and network-related issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and implementation records.
• Prepare and explain network topologies, architecture diagrams, and system diagrams.
• Prepare standard project documentation, including SOWs, system handover documents, equipment inventories, configuration records, and related documentation.
• Provide system maintenance and technical support where required.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal project teams to deliver infrastructure projects and ensure successful system implementation and handover.

• Operating Systems: Linux, including CentOS and SUSE
• Networking: Dell and Cisco networking technologies
• Firewall: Fortinet
• Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, HDFS, ZooKeeper, Cloudera, Hue, Apache technologies, and Elasticsearch
• Fiber Optics: Good knowledge of fiber-optic transmission devices and related infrastructure
• This role requires individual to clear CAT 1 due to the nature of the project.
