Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing professional to support procurement activities and supplier engagements for IT initiatives within banking environments. The role focuses on IT contract review and negotiation, working closely with Procurement, Legal and IT stakeholders to manage contractual risks and optimize supplier value.

The position requires hands-on IT contract management experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related discipline.
• Experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or IT contract management.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with suppliers.
• Understanding of procurement processes, contractual risks and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and contracting of IT initiatives across banking environment, including reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with suppliers.
• Work closely with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Legal and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure contracts support business objectives.
• Review contractual terms, identify gaps and potential risks, and advise stakeholders on the implications and appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve favourable commercial outcomes, including cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with the Bank's policies, processes, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contracting process.
• Support a strong risk and compliance culture through clear communication and effective management of contractual matters.
