Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing professional to support procurement activities and supplier engagements for IT initiatives across a banking environment.

The role focuses on IT contract review and negotiation, working closely with Procurement, Legal and IT stakeholders to manage contractual risks and optimize value from suppliers.

Qualificações

• Relevant experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or IT contract management.
• Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with suppliers.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, contractual risks and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Support the procurement and contracting of IT initiatives across banking environment, including reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with suppliers.
• Work closely with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Legal and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure contracts support business objectives.
• Review contractual terms, identify gaps and potential risks, and advise stakeholders on the implications and appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve favourable commercial outcomes, including cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Ensure procurement and contracting activities comply with the Bank's policies, processes, standards and guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers throughout the contracting process.
• Support a strong risk and compliance culture through clear communication and effective management of contractual matters.

Job Summary

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related discipline;
• Must have relevant experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or IT contract management;
• Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating IT contracts with suppliers;
• Good understanding of procurement processes, contractual risks and compliance requirements;
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in banking or financial service;
• Experience in commercial negotiations, cost savings or cost avoidance.
