Job summary

NTU in Singapore is seeking a Senior Specialist (IT Operations) to join the Centre of IT Services (CITS). The incumbent will oversee IT needs for the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, ensuring compliance with CITS policies and delivering reliable infrastructure and user support for faculty, staff and researchers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of IT operations experience.
• Proficiency in providing end-user support for Windows desktops.
• Experience in administering Windows-based servers.
• Ability to troubleshoot PC hardware issues.
• Familiarity with network and cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Good oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations for faculty, staff and researchers and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead process improvements and technology automation initiatives.
• Manage infrastructure changes, maintenance routines and replacement plans.
• Support Graduate Programmes, Research Centres and other units.
• Monitor service levels and drive improvements in client satisfaction.
• Manage budget, maintenance, operation and upgrades for facilities.
• Pilot new tools and optimise infrastructure performance.
• Maintain CCTV system for safety within the School.
