Job summary

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. in Singapore is seeking an IT Operations & Infrastructure Support professional to sustain and optimize our IT environment. You will provide 1st line technical support, maintain infrastructure, and collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure high availability.

The role requires a strong background in networks, servers, storage, databases, and cybersecurity, plus excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' IT support or similar role, preferably in financial services.
• Strong networking, server, storage, database, and cybersecurity skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line technical support for IT applications, systems and infrastructure.
• Respond to and resolve IT tickets and incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist in management and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks and storage.
• Maintain hardware inventories and lifecycles.
• Collaborate with Asia Hub IT and global teams and external vendors.
• Participate in system upgrades and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and local regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes.
• Assist user training to improve IT literacy.
• Coordinate business continuity drills and maintain the Business Continuity Plan.
• Regulatory technology assessment support.
