SINGAPORE CONSORTIUM INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT LIMITED is seeking an IT Officer to manage IT support for about 20 staff, including desktop and server administration. The role covers application maintenance, account setup, security, backups, and liaising with providers for upgrades.

Ideal candidates hold an ITE/Poly diploma in Computer Engineering or IT, with strong communication and independent working ability; experience with AD, DNS/DHCP, PowerShell and SQL/SSRS is a plus.

Qualifications

• ITE/Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• Able to work independently with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP; familiarity with Windows PowerShell.
• Experience with SQL Server and SSRS; knowledge of Azure is an advantage.

1.JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description & Requirements

(I) IT Support Service for 20 staff

• Provide 1st/2nd level remote/onsite support for IT technical request and desktop system supporting including setting-up, configure and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Set up accounts for new users, including banking tokens
• Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users, timely renewed, review & Upgrade and disposed
• Maintain one in-house system using C# and runs in the ASP.NETenvironment
• Knowledge of database management and optimisation
• Liaise with external service providers to implement upgrades and new projects.

(II) Domain,Network and Data Administration

• Ensure high availability of services through regular server and network maintenance.
• Ensure server, network systems and end-user PCs are well secured and protected (including protection from cyberattacks)
• Perform regular backup of business data and application systems
• Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancyplanning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan.

Requirements

• Able to work independently with good communication skills
• Understanding of computer systems, PC repair, and database and network management
• Ability to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktop and mobile devices
• Understanding and appreciation for information security within systems and user devices, including firewalls, 2FA, VPN and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of system security and data backup and recovery
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Familiarity with Windows PowerShell and its commands
• Experience in SQL server and SSRS will be an advantage
• Knowledge in web-front-end technologies such as CSS,JavaScript will be an advantage
• Knowledge OFMicrosoft Azure is an advantage
