Job summary

Search Avenue Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on IT Network & Support Engineer to join our expanding team. You will provide first-line IT support, manage network devices, CCTV, and assist with AI demonstrations and workshops.

The role includes training and exposure to AI tools, automation, and technology workshops; travel to client sites may be required, with strong English and customer-focused communication essential for success.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of experience in IT support, network support, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, printers, business applications, and basic networking.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and IP cameras is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to clients and users.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, software, Wi-Fi, email, and connectivity issues.
• Set up PCs, mobile devices, printers, user accounts, and business applications.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Support small-office network setups, cabling, racks, patch panels, and network points.
• Perform basic network diagnostics and coordinate with vendors when required.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IP CCTV systems.
• Learn and explore practical AI tools, automation, and productivity solutions.
• Assist with AI demonstrations, workshops, training materials, and presentations.
• Progressively take on opportunities to conduct selected AI workshops as your knowledge and confidence develop.
• Earn additional incentives for eligible AI workshops and client engagements.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, support cases, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare simple user guides and technical documentation.
• Keep clients and internal teams updated on issues, progress, and resolutions.

Job description

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6.30pm

Our client is a Singapore-based digital and IT solutions company. They are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented IT Network & Support Engineer to join our their expanding team.

You'll support clients across IT infrastructure, networks, devices, and CCTV systems, while also gaining exciting exposure to AI tools, automation, and technology workshops. Training will be provided, so you don't need prior professional AI experience-just a strong willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

IT Support

• Provide first-line technical support to clients and users.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, software, Wi-Fi, email, and connectivity issues.
• Set up PCs, mobile devices, printers, user accounts, and business applications.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.

Network & Infrastructure

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Support small-office network setups, cabling, racks, patch panels, and network points.
• Perform basic network diagnostics and coordinate with vendors when required.

CCTV Systems

• Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IP CCTV systems.
• Support cameras, NVR/DVR systems, remote viewing, storage, cabling, and connectivity.

AI & Technology

• Learn and explore practical AI tools, automation, and productivity solutions.
• Assist with AI demonstrations, workshops, training materials, and presentations.
• Progressively take on opportunities to conduct selected AI workshops as your knowledge and confidence develop.
• Earn additional incentives for eligible AI workshops and client engagements.

Documentation & Client Support

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, support cases, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare simple user guides and technical documentation.
• Keep clients and internal teams updated on issues, progress, and resolutions.

Requirements

• Around 2 years of experience in IT support, network support, or a related technical role.

• Able to work independently while knowing when to seek support.
