Role Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, deploying, managing, and optimizing Experia’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, security, and scalability.

This role oversees the network, servers, cloud environments, cybersecurity posture, end-user systems, and vendor relationships.

The manager will lead the infrastructure domain, drive technology improvements, and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure and Systems Administration

  • Oversee cloud infrastructure operations (servers, storage, network, backup, disaster recovery).
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and capacity planning.
  • Optimise cloud usage, performance, and resource provisioning.
  • Manage configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and services).
  • Manage end-user onboarding and provide day‑to‑day technical and end‑user support to ensure seamless adoption of IT systems and services.

2. Network & Security

  • Manage enterprise networks, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and network segmentation.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls aligned with organisational and ISO27001 requirements.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments, security patching, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity lead to enforce policies and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness trainings and regular phishing simulation campaigns.

3. Project & Vendor Management

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects, including new technology rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned with business needs.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of systems architecture, configurations, SOPs, and incident reports.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or lead role.
Key Competencies
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) covering compute, networking, storage, backup and disaster recovery services.
  • Proficient with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory administration, including user management, security, and performance optimization.
  • Practical exposure to modern endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune and Enterprise Device Management (EDM).
  • Strong expertise in enterprise network technologies, particularly Fortinet and Ruckus, with focus on secure connectivity and scalability.
  • Solid understanding of industry frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST, applied to risk management and compliance.
  • Skilled in IT governance, audit compliance, and maintaining accurate system documentation.
