Job summary

Baker Tilly Singapore is seeking an IT Intern who can commit to at least 6 months starting December 2026, on-site in our Singapore office. This role provides hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure while working with a collaborative team of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting in hardware/software installation, Microsoft 365 administration tasks, Level 1 support, updating tickets, and asset inventories.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Able to commit for at least 6 months (5 days per week) on site in Singapore, preferably starting in Dec 2026.
• Eager to learn Microsoft 365 and cloud-based server administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, including operating systems and applications
• Observe and support Microsoft 365 administration tasks (Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, Exchange, Defender)
• Provide Level 1 support: log, diagnose, and resolve basic IT issues for local and remote users
• Update and maintain help-desk tickets and documentation
• Regularly update asset inventory lists
• Collaborate on IT projects, coordinating with vendors under supervision
• Ad hoc assignments from the IT Manager
• Hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and platforms
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 suite and cloud SaaS environments
• Practical understanding of network architecture and security fundamentals
• Mentorship from experienced IT professionals
• Development of problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
