Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore (Ubi) is seeking a network engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network and security infrastructure for client projects.

The role covers virtualization, Linux/Windows server administration, data centre support, and network deployment, requiring 2–4 years of hands-on experience. CCNA/CCNP preferred. This position offers great remuneration and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years hands-on experience in enterprise networking, implementation, and deployment projects.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies and network security concepts.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and server administration.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and WAN/LAN environments for client projects.
• Lead end-to-end implementation and deployment of network solutions, from planning and staging through to go-live and post-deployment support.
• Configure, deploy, and manage firewall solutions to meet client security and compliance requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and remediation for network and security-related incidents.
• Support and execute data centre projects, including rack/stack, cabling, equipment installation, and infrastructure migrations.
• Work with multi-vendor networking and security environments across client sites.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) to support client infrastructure environments.
• Administer and support Linux and Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and integration with broader network infrastructure.
• Produce clear, accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration records, migration plans, and user acceptance testing (UAT) documents.
• Lead or support project delivery, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders on project status, technical issues, and solution recommendations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.


• With 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, implementation, and deployment projects


• Strong working knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point) - configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.


• Proven experience in infrastructure deployment, migration and technology refresh.


• Working knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).


• Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server administration.


• Strong documentation skills - able to produce network diagrams, configuration guides, and migration/UAT documentation.


• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
