Job summary

Sciente Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead a global/local team, align IT strategies, and ensure reliable, cost-effective system operations.

The role requires Linux (SuSE), Windows, networking expertise, plus IT project and vendor management experience, in a 24x7 manufacturing or mission-critical setting, with strong cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in Linux (SuSE), Windows, and WAN/LAN networking.
• Experience in IT project management, including vendor management and e-commerce or infrastructure-related projects.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across departments and global teams.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, training, and operational support management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, deployment, lifecycle management, and support of all IT Infrastructure components.
• Coordinate system design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and user training.
• Work closely with business units to understand requirements and set priorities based on available resources and budget.
• Ensure high service quality through effective processes, best-practice procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and guide the team, ensuring proper skills development and strong operational performance.
