Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage cloud-based Windows and Linux environments, ensure high availability, and drive security compliance across IT infrastructure.

You will handle incident management, capacity planning, system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery, while supporting projects and evaluating new technologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT infrastructure support and maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of managing Windows and/or Red Hat Linux servers in a cloud environment.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services.
• Experience in incident management, service recovery, and escalation handling.
• Familiarity with security reviews, audits, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to support infrastructure projects, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud-based Windows/Linux infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Oversee IT operations, service management processes, incident resolution, and vendor/service provider governance.
• Conduct security reviews, audits, capacity planning, system upgrades, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Support infrastructure projects, technology improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Job Summary

Looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer with expertise in cloud-based Windows/Linux server administration, IT infrastructure support, incident management, and security compliance. Strong background in system maintenance, capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and ensuring high availability of business-critical systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Must have 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and maintenance;
• Must have 3 years of experience managing Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat Linux servers in a cloud environment;
• Strong knowledge of server, database, network, and cybersecurity best practices;
• Must have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services;
• Experience in incident management, service recovery, and escalation handling;
• Experience in infrastructure/database capacity planning, system upgrades, and lifecycle management;
• Familiarity with security reviews, audits, compliance, and disaster recovery planning;
• Ability to support infrastructure projects, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Skill-set

• Strong enterprise infrastructure operations, governance, and IT service management experience;
• Exposure to security, IAM, audits, disaster recovery, and project/vendor management.
