Job summary

KEY CONNECT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced infrastructure operations professional to support production-grade environments and ensure high availability.

You will work across virtualization, OS, storage, backup and networking, coordinate with vendors, participate in incident deep dives, and contribute to governance and change processes while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure or platform operations.
• Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments.
• Strong technical understanding across virtualization, OS, storage, backup, networking, and related platforms.
• Experience with vendor-supported operating models and external support teams.
• Able to participate in technical troubleshooting, deep dives, and complex incident resolution.
• Governance, security governance, change review, or service request processes preferred.
• Experience supporting technical project delivery including coordination and risk tracking.
• At least 2 years in government or public sector settings.
• Data center operations experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

Requirements

1. 1. Experience in infrastructure or platform operations


2. 2. Experience supporting production or mission-critical environments


3. 3. Strong technical understanding of infrastructure operations across virtualization, operating systems, storage, backup, networking, and related platforms


4. 4. Experience working with vendor-supported operating models and managing external support teams


5. 5. Able to participate in technical troubleshooting, issue deep dives, and problem resolution for complex incidents


6. 6. Experience supporting technical governance, security governance, change review, or service request approval processes is preferred


7. 7. Experience supporting technical project delivery, including coordination, issue and risk tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder follow-up


8. 8. At least 2 years of experience in government or public sector settings


9. 9. Good to have data center operations experience


10. 10. strong communication and coordination skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technical Requirements

1. 1. Experience with infrastructure platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix


2. 2. Experience with Red Hat Linux and/or Windows Server environments


3. 3. Familiarity with enterprise storage, backup, HA, and DR solutions


4. 4. strong understanding of monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting practices


5. 5. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and segmentation


6. 6. Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments, including AWS or Azure

Desired Technical Skills

1. 1. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform


2. 2. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash


3. 3. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes


4. 4. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration
