Job summary

NEWTONE SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure.

The role spans servers, virtualization, storage, networking and monitoring to ensure reliable, secure and stable operations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration, strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL and VMware, and familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Grafana and Prometheus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration or operations support.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL and VMware.
• Experience supporting enterprise servers, storage and networking environments.
• Experience with backup/recovery, firewalls and infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Grafana and Prometheus is advantageous.
• Nice to have: RHCSA/RHCE or VMware VCF certification, exposure to Ansible/GitLab, infrastructure design, DR, automation and change management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, storage, networking and related infrastructure.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability across production and non-production environments.
• Perform system patching, upgrades, performance tuning and capacity management.
• Manage backup, recovery and replication activities to ensure system and data availability.
• Support enterprise infrastructure including Dell servers/storage, Cisco networking and FortiGate firewalls.
• Manage access controls and support security, governance and audit requirements.
• Maintain SOPs, infrastructure documentation, maintenance records and operational reports.
• Support infrastructure implementation, DR exercises, change management and automation initiatives where required.
