Job summary

LPS is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure specialist to manage and enhance data center operations in Singapore. The role focuses on Hyper-V, Windows Server, and security hardening, with collaboration across vendors and product teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Veeam backups, CIS hardening, and cloud familiarity (AWS), while supporting incident management and proactive optimization.?>

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building/deploying data center infrastructure.
• Experience with Hyper-V cluster setup, vNIC, vSwitch configurations.
• Experience with CIS hardening on Windows Server and RHEL; GPO deployment.

Job description

• Troubleshoot incidents, apply hotfixes/patches, and coordinate with vendors/product teams for permanent resolutions.
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation and operational runbooks.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization, automation, and performance improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in building and deploying data center infrastructure, working on Hyper-V, Windows Servers, REHL, CyberArk PAM and Veeam Data Backup products.
• Experience with Hyper-V cluster setup, vNIC, and vSwitch configuration.
• Experience with performing CIS hardening on Windows 2022 Data Center & REHL, GPO deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management processes.
• Good knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routing, VLANs).
• Knowledge of BMC Control-M is preferred
Knowledge of implementing firewall rules, support network switches is preferred
