Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. is seeking a trainee in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance to join a financial institution in Singapore. Training will be provided to build a career in IT governance within the financial sector.

The role involves supporting governance frameworks, risk registers, audits, and compliance activities, including MAS and SWIFT requirements. No prior experience required and a degree in IT is preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred.
• Interest in IT Governance, Risk, Compliance or Cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with financial industry practices or Singapore regulatory requirements (MAS) advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IT governance frameworks, policies and procedures in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Assist with IT risk registers, control monitoring and risk/compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, auditors and service providers on audits and issue follow-up.
• Support regulatory inspections, external audits and compliance assessments, including MAS and SWIFT requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of IT systems, software, hardware and related assets.
• Support IT vendor onboarding, procurement, contract renewal and governance processes.
• Consolidate IT data for risk dashboards, audit responses and management reporting.
• Support secure and compliant data management practices across the organisation.
• Handle other IT governance and compliance-related duties as assigned.

Salary: Up to $6,000 (depending on experience)
