Job summary

Society for the Aged Sick is seeking an IT Engineer to implement, maintain, and support the organisation's IT systems, networks, hardware and security framework.

You will install and configure hardware/software, troubleshoot infrastructure, manage access controls, and ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness, while collaborating with vendors and keeping policies up to date.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands on and resourceful.
• Keen to learn and keep updated on latest cybersecurity risks, Health Information Act and PDPA.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, servers, and IT systems.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory of hardware and software licenses as well as other office equipment/device.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection policies.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Configure and maintain cloud services and virtualization platforms.
• Document IT procedures, system configurations, and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
• Provide support for and maintain other office equipment including telephone systems, printers and copiers.
