Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business consulting or business analysis within IT or digital transformation.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience writing user stories, process flows, and functional docs.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

We are seeking a Business Consultant with strong business analysis and stakeholder advisory skills to support technology and digital transformation projects. You will work closely with clients to understand business objectives, assess operational challenges, recommend practical improvements, and translate business needs into actionable requirements. Working across product, design, and engineering teams, you will help shape user-centred solutions and support delivery from discovery through implementation. Experience in digital product design, AI-enabled solutions, or cloud-based AI platforms will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Business Consulting & Stakeholder Advisory

• Engage clients and stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and operational needs.
• Assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical, value-driven improvements.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discussions to align business goals, scope, and priorities.
• Frame problem statements, evaluate solution options, and support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to business cases, impact assessments, and prioritisation of initiatives.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Elicit, document, validate, and prioritise business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flows.
• Define business rules, acceptance criteria, and measurable success outcomes.
• Map user journeys and analyse user needs to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain requirements traceability and assess changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Solution Design & Technical Collaboration

• Collaborate with architects, technical leads, and developers to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with solution architecture.
• Translate business needs into system specifications, design inputs, and configuration requirements.
• Contribute to prototypes, low-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Partner with product and design teams to develop intuitive, user-centred solutions.
• Support AI-enabled initiatives by defining business workflows, user needs, data requirements, human review points, and expected outcomes.

Project Delivery & Implementation

• Participate in project planning, backlog refinement, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Support user acceptance testing, including test scenarios, execution, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support implementation, change readiness, user guidance, and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with business, design, data, and engineering teams to resolve delivery issues.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications, software requirements specifications, process maps, and user guides.
• Maintain project reports, dashboards, and metrics to communicate progress and outstanding issues.
• Document relevant AI business rules, decision points, assumptions, and success measures.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in business consulting or business analysis within IT, system integration, or digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to assess business problems, recommend solutions, and translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements.
• Strong experience facilitating workshops and managing business and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and functional documentation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, system integrations, or data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering medium to large system integration projects.
• Experience in digital product delivery, product discovery, or user-centred design.
• Experience with AI products, AI-enabled solutions, or AI-related transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to cloud-native AI/ML platforms, data and model workflows, or cloud-deployed AI services.
• Familiarity with human-in-the-loop processes, prompt-based features, and AI-driven user experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma or Miro.
• Data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Exposure to data protection, regulatory, or compliance requirements, including PDPA and relevant ISO standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or an Agile Business Analyst certification.
