Governance & Compliance Project Engineer (2-Year Contract | Public Sector)

Location: Bukit Merah, Central Region
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Contract Duration: 24 Months
Salary Range: $5,000 – $7,000/month
Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonuses (up to 4 months)
Eligibility: Singaporeans Only

About the Role

Join a dynamic team supporting subsystem onboarding to compliance platforms within a public sector environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring systems meet government IT security standards through verification checks, advisory support, and dashboard reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide application teams through compliance verification and audit readiness
• Conduct regular assurance checks to ensure systems meet required standards
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation and protocols
• Lead onboarding efforts and ensure timely delivery of compliance milestones
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
• Build and manage dashboards using Power BI for reporting and insights
• Support audit preparation and ensure alignment with government IT policies

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT operations, governance, or compliance
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
• Familiarity with government IT security policies and audit processes
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data analysis and reporting
• Technical knowledge in: Windows Active Directory Domain, RHEL Linux, PIM/PAM, Cloud AD & AWS IAM integration
