Job summary

Changi Cove Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee hotel IT services, software and hardware support, security, and network infrastructure.

You will ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems (PMS, POS, email, PABX), manage backups, licenses, and vendor relationships, and train staff on proper IT usage. This is a hands-on role demanding proactive IT operation improvements and collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in managing IT operations for a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to monitor and maintain critical systems and security measures.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills and familiarity with backup and license management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel IT systems, servers, email servers, network infrastructure and traffic are securely run and maintained.
• Ensure critical systems (PMS, Call Accounting, PABX, POS, Email) are available 24/7.
• Provide system and network support including outage diagnosis, troubleshooting and antivirus management.
• Train end users on proper IT usage and provide first-line support before vendor escalation.
• Manage third-party vendors and document IT tasks, workflows, and asset issuance.
• Oversee daily backups and control hardware/software procurement and licensing.
• Identify IT improvements and execute ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job description

Reporting to the Management, or whoever he or she might delegate to, be responsible for the IT operations & services within the Hotel, including software and hardware support, security, anti-virus, firewall protection, server & network maintenance, website etc. Duties includes but not limited to:

• Ensure that the Hotel’s computer systems, servers, email servers, network infrastructure and traffic are efficiently run, well maintained and secured
• Ensure critical systems, specifically but not limited to PMS, Call Accounting, PABX, POS, Email services are available 24 hours per day
• Provide all system and network support services, including service outage diagnosis, troubleshooting, restoration of services, virus protection management
• To monitor and report on operational IT problems and carries out tests on software implementations, updates software patches and installs anti-virus systems to protect the systems.
• To train end users on the correct usage of IT systems and provide first line user support services before referring to vendor support, if required
• Provide IT technical assistance and support for all users and guests within the hotel
• Manage third-party vendors
• To document all IT tasks, work processes, system workflow and ensure proper tracking and records of Hotel’s IT equipment and issuance to associates
• Manage the daily backup of the system and data files
• Manage the sourcing, acquisition and configuration of hardware and software for the hotel and office
• Responsible for all software and hardware renewal licensing
• To constantly explore new IT improvement and efficient way in supporting the hotel operations.
