Job summary

Ocean Finest PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Operations professional to maintain our IT infrastructure and security across a group of hotels and our head office.

You will install, configure and manage servers, networks and software, while supporting staff and coordinating with vendors for critical systems like PMS and Keycard. The role requires 1+ year in IT operations, Windows Server and MS SQL experience, and strong problem-solving with good communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year IT operation experience with at least a professional certification.
• Proficient in MS Windows Server and MS SQL administration.
• Familiar with installation, configuration and administration of supporting systems, servers and network equipment.
• Strong analytical with good troubleshooting ability.
• Team player with initiative and ability to perform under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems and software across our hotels and head office.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop, laptop, network appliances and software.
• Manage user accounts and prepare laptops/desktops for new staff.
• Provide technical support to hotel staff and head office employees.
• Develop simple troubleshooting checklists for staff to follow before contacting IT or vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors to implement PMS and Keycard systems on schedule.
• Support IT security policies, procedures and protocols to protect data and systems.
• Ensure PCs and laptops have up-to-date antivirus software.
• Perform daily data and network backups.
• Document IT procedures, systems and network configurations.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.

We are looking for a passionate individual to join the IT team. Primary role is to maintain the infrastructure and its security; including firewall, switches, and servers.

Job Scope & Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and software in our group of hotels and head office.
• Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop, laptop, network appliances and software.
• Perform user account management and prepare laptop or desktop for new staffs.
• Provide application and infrastructure technical support to hotel staff and head office employees.
• Develop simple trouble shooting checklists for our hotel staff to follow before contacting IT department or the vendors.
• Co-ordinate with multiple vendors to ensure that various systems (e.g. PMS and Keycard) with dependencies are implemented at the same time or in a timely manner.
• Security and Compliance.
• Assist in the implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the hotel's data and systems.
• Ensure all PCs and laptops in our hotels have up-to-date anti-virus software installed.
• Perform end-user daily data and network backup.
• Perform documentation on IT procedures, system, and network configuration.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1-year working experience in IT operation environment with at least a professional certification, ITE, Poly or degree may apply
• Knowledge in MS Windows Servers and MS SQL administration
• Familiar with installation, configuration and administration of supporting systems, servers and network equipment
• Strong analytical with good troubleshooting ability
• Team player with initiative and ability to perform under pressure
• Ensure confidentiality and reliability of data, information, and intellectual property.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
