Job summary

MUN SIONG ENGINEERING LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an IT Applications Support professional to provide technical and functional support for IT applications and to oversee project implementation. You will liaise with users and IT vendors, perform requirement analysis, assess risks, and develop guidelines.

The role includes assisting in minor development, maintaining databases, and supporting change and incident management.

Qualifications

• Provide technical/functional support for IT applications.
• Liaise with users and IT vendors for delivery of IT solutions.
• Perform requirement analysis and prepare detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Perform impact and risk analysis for change request.
• Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
• Assist in maintenance of IT Application’s databases or interfaces, if feasible.
• Assist in minor development of Application and/or Business Intelligent solutions/reports, if feasible.
• Develop IT guidelines and procedures.
• Provide basic guidance and IT training to end-users, which exclude end-user functional usage of ERP/HR system and typical Microsoft Office usage.
• Facilitate & carry out major IT application changes in accordance to the change management process, where applicable.
• Facilitate IT application issues in accordance to the Incident management process.
• Request for quotations for IT specific application within IT controls.
• Handle IT purchase request for IT specific application within IT controls/budget.
• Participate and/or lead IT application projects.
• Prepare IT application project documentation.
• Prepare meeting minutes
• Execute IT Disaster Recovery with reference to the Business Continuity Plan.
• Support other IT colleagues if required.
• Participate in IT audit and ensure IT compliance.
• Ability to work after office hours or weekend if required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Management and IT Manager.
