Job summary

International French School (Singapore) is seeking a proactive IT Applications Intern to assist the IT-Applications team with data management, applications inventory, and support tasks.

You will perform data inventory and cleaning for the trustmark certification, manage access rights matrices, update GLPI forms, track incidents in Power BI, and support project managers with assigned tasks. A foundational exposure to data security policies within an educational environment is expected.

Job description

As an Intern you will assist IT-Applications team on different tasks including but not limited to :

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data inventory and data cleaning for the trustmark certification:

• Understand how our student and guardian management tool works and how the data is managed
• Build a matrix with all the access rights assigned
• Meet the different departments for a review and update of these access rights
• Feed the document Data Retention Policy and other documents related to data security.

Applications lifecycle management/Inventory of school applications

• Work with the pedagogical team to cleanup our applications
• Update the list of active applications in our ticketing system GLPI
• Build dynamic forms in GLPI for the software requests
• Update the relevant documentation

Support Level 2/Project management assistant

• Review, analyse and update user's requests and Incidents
• Perform Level 2 diagnosis and resolution of incidents and requests
• Escalade unresolved issues to IT-APPS level 3 or to vendors
• Perform incident closure, verifying problem resolution with users and documenting of SOP
• Analyse recurrent incidents and be proactive
• Track SLA of incidents and requests in Power BI
• Assist the project managers with assigned tasks
