Job summary

Univers seeks a seasoned Product Lead - IoT Connectivity & AI Foundation to drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core edge-to-cloud connectivity engine. You will guide data ingestion pipelines, edge MQTT/infrastructure (EMQX), and AI-enabled operations, partnering with multiple engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities.

Lead end-to-end product lifecycle, foster cross-functional collaboration, and define metrics for adoption, reliability and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), Automation, or a related field.
• 6+ years in technical product management (TPM/Product Lead) with a track record in IoT platforms, Edge Computing, IIoT, or telemetry data ingestion.
• IoT protocols and data ingestion knowledge: Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet, CAN, MQTT, CoAP, WebSockets, HTTP/REST.
• Familiarity with enterprise MQTT brokers (EMQX, HiveMQ, AWS IoT Core) and streaming engines (Kafka).
• Edge store-and-forward, local databases, bandwidth management, data synchronization strategies.
• Understanding of agent registries, telemetry, governance, observability, and platform scalability.
• Experience leading engineers or cross-functional product teams.
• Strong system-design skills and ability to challenge technical proposals.
• Comfortable communicating with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Interest in agentic AI and enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the IoT Connectivity Service & AI Foundation.
• Lead the design and development of the shared platform supporting multiple AI agents.
• Own capabilities including agent registry, telemetry, evaluations, monitoring, guardrails, governance and access management.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to translate business needs into scalable platform requirements.
• Manage engineering resources and drive delivery priorities.
• Ensure the platform is secure, robust, scalable and enterprise-ready.
