Job summary

Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) in Singapore seeks an experienced senior engineer to drive end-to-end IoT/IIoT product development, leading hardware, firmware and system design for reliable, scalable industrial solutions.

You will collaborate across software, quality and operations while ensuring cybersecurity, governance compliance, and adherence to global IoT standards. Mass production readiness and cross-disciplinary teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of direct hardware or system design experience.
• Degree or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Comfort working with governance constraints (auditability, security, privacy).

Responsibilities

• Lead full product lifecycle (NPI) for new categories, from concept to production.
• Define system architecture and hardware development including firmware.
• Ensure reliable connectivity between industrial equipment, edge devices and cloud platforms.
• Conduct laboratory validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of circuits and protocols.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, providing planning, estimates and risk management.
• Apply cybersecurity considerations and adhere to IoT standards (ETSI, CISPR, Bluetooth SIG, UK PSTI).
