Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an IT/Printer Technician to deploy and maintain IoT devices across office environments. You will onboard devices, manage firmware, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth network printing and driver configurations.

The role requires hands-on experience with printer hardware and management tools, plus strong troubleshooting across hardware, networking, and security for IoT devices. On-site Singapore deployment with cross-functional support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in information technology, computer engineering or related field.
• Experience with IoT device deployment, endpoint management, or field engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, networking, and platform integration.
• Experience with device management platforms (e.g., Azure IoT Hub, Intune, Meraki, Aruba).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IoT devices.
• Proven experience as Printer Technician / IT Support Technician.
• Hands-on expertise with printer hardware (laser, inkjet, MFDs).
• Familiarity with printer management tools (PaperCut, UniFLOW).
• Knowledge of Windows print server, printer drivers, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Ability to document processes and communicate clearly with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain IoT devices (printers, MFPs, smart boards, digital signage).
• Manage device onboarding, provisioning, firmware updates, and decommissioning.
• Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to configure network printing, drivers, and print queues.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation for all IoT devices.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for IoT issues for Workplace Technologies - EUS
• Diagnose hardware, connectivity and application-level problems.
• Diagnose and resolve printer hardware issues (jam, fuser, roller, toner, etc.).
• Handle software-related printer issues including drivers, spooler errors, and connectivity problems.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex device issues.
