Job summary

COMMSENS PTE. LTD. is seeking a field technician to visit customer sites, deploy and test IoT hardware, and support firmware updates. You will diagnose issues, perform QC checks prior to shipping, and manage hardware logistics. Collaboration with product and software teams to improve reliability is expected. Training is provided and a Class 3 driving licence is a plus.

Applicants must be Singaporean or Singapore PR and be prepared for hands-on field work in real environments.

Qualifications

• Singaporean citizens or Singapore permanent residents only.

Responsibilities

• Go on site visits to collect data, deploy, test, and support IoT hardware in real environments.
• Handle firmware programming and updates for devices - including testing new releases and debugging issues.
• Diagnose and repair faulty or returned units - determine issue and fix.
• Run QC checks before shipping - ensure every device is solid.
• Take care of hardware shipping and logistics - packing, labeling, and tracking devices headed to customers.
• Collaborate with product and software teams to share field insights and improve reliability.
