Job summary

Dyson Singapore is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to own the Out of the Box experience for Dyson Connected products, including pairing the Dyson Link app with connected products and building API/microservices for Connected products.

You’ll use Node.js, C# or the best tool for the job, run in containers or serverless functions in AWS, and contribute from inception to delivery with a focus on high-quality software and collaborative, paired programming practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cloud architecture and development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker or other virtualization tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies: microservices, serverless, containers, APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in DotNet Core or NodeJS development.
• Experience building production-quality software.
• Exposure to automated testing (unit/integration).
• Familiarity with Agile practices.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy micro-service applications.
• Monitor, measure and investigate production issues.
• Collaborate in team-based development sessions to share knowledge.
