Job summary

foodpanda in Singapore is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join our Growth domain. You will collaborate with an international Product team, building customer-facing features that help acquire, retain, and grow our user base.

You will own technical delivery across the SDLC, lead code reviews, and work with Product Management to deliver maximum value. Strong Swift, architecture knowledge, and experience scaling apps to millions of users are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong command of English to articulate technical concepts and project scope.
• Proficient in Swift with hands-on development experience.
• Skilled in high‑performance testing and optimisation.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns including SOLID, MVVM and VIPER.
• Proven experience addressing scalability challenges for apps handling thousands to millions of users.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release.
• Involvement across the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment and release.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of mobile software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert within your vertical, hands-on across the full SDLC including development, design, testing, deployment and release.
• Serve as the product owner within your vertical, driving improvements and maintenance as needed.
• Ensure code quality through reviews that align with development standards.
